It would be nice if India, as well as china, had a more constructive approach to climate change negotiations. Currentlly they seem to be stuck on the issue of clean technology transfer and the role of patents. India want's to dilute patent protection to "make technology affordable". This is a distraction from the real debate which is import tarrifs - which are high in India. Also, it is private enterprise that will bring cleantech into India, not governmnets, and without patent incentives it wil not happen.
